Marissa Love, MD

Assistant Professor, Allergy, Clinical Immunology, and Rheumatology

Dr. Love is assistant professor at the University of Kansas Medical Center in the Allergy and Clinical Immunology section. She has experience in caring for both adult and pediatric patients with food allergies. Her research interests include anaphylaxis due to food hypersensitivities, access to appropriate therapy for food induced anaphylaxis, education regarding avoidance and treatment of food induced reactions, and food insecurity for patients with food hypersensitivities. She is currently the principal investigator for a pilot grant assessing efficacy of a culinary medicine rotation at our medical school and is pursuing a certificate in culinary medicine from the American College of Culinary Medicine.
